Description

METHOD

  • First grind coconut,garlic, turmeric , coriander seeds and chilles to fine paste using water
  • To this add onion and tamrind with soaked water again grind once till onions are paste
  • Now squeeze a tomato to paste with your hands and keep aside
  • Now remove the ground masala to the cooking pot with water as required for making curry
  • Boil this ,when it starts boiling add tomato,crushed garlic and curry leaves boil sometime
  • Add fish ,rock salt cook for 5-8 minutes
  • Done ,enjoy hot with rice.

NOTE
*2 slit green chillies can be added while boiling..
*don’t make the curry watery

• 8-10  washed Mackerel fish pieces
•1 cup grated coconut or 1/2 small coconut grated
•15-16 fried chillies (as per requirement )
•2 tsp full heaped coriander seeds
•4 flakes crushed garlic for grinding +3 crushed for later use
•1/2 tsp turmeric powder
•a gooseberry sized tamrind soaked in  water
•1 small onion chopped roughly
•1 ripe tomato
•2 spring curryleaves
•Rock salt to taste or use normal
